Select the Products that You Wish to Enable the Pre-Order

Individually enable pre-order using the toggle buttons, or bulk select the products you'd like to activate Pre-Order for.

If bulk selecting, you'll need to click the ON at the Pre-Order field (selecting OFF will bulk disable the Pre-Order):

If you wish to enable Pre-Order for ALL products, click the on Select All checkbox. Then, click the Select all items from your store button to select the products for the whole store.

Then, select the ON button to enable pre-order. Please note, if you have a huge store with thousands of items, it will take 20 to 50 seconds for it to activate the changes.

A pop-up notification notifying you the total number of products/variants that will be affected will be shown and you are required to confirm this process by selecting Enable Pre-order button.

A progress bar will then show the progress of this process:

Frequently Asked Questions

How come the Pre-Order button isn't showing?

Check if the product has a Custom Settings enabled. You check this via Settings button, which will be displayed as Custom Settings instead of Default Settings.

Here are a few scenarios where the Pre-Order button will not be displayed due to the enabling of the Custom Settings:

  • The Pre-order quantity limit reached. If that is the case, click on the Custom Settings button to configure the quantity limits.

  • An existing Pre-Order schedule had been set for the product/variant. To check if a period had been set, you can go to the Edit Settings button and configure the "Pre-order is active" field.

  • There are still items in stock at your store. In order to use the Pre-Order feature, please ensure the quantity is less than or equal to zero.

  • Check if the pre-order is enabled for your location.
Under Settings > App Settings, you may check if the Pre-Order is geographically specific.
