There are two ways for you to control your Inventory with the pickup option:

Inventory by Shopify Locations

With Shopify Location option in the Inventory section, you are able to sync the Store Location with your specific Shopify Location

Step 1: Select the Shopify Location option

  • Firstly, go to Settings.

  • Click the Pickup tab and choose Inventory option: By Shopify Location in the Settings part. Remember to click Save and Publish to Shop buttons.

Step 2: Add your Store Location to Shopify Location

If all the locations on the app have already matched with all of your Shopify locations, then you can skip this step.

  • First, you go to Settings on the left side menu bar of your Backend and select the Location tab

  • Click Add location to add the Store Locations you have in Store Pickup app to Shopify Location

  • In this example, we have 4 more store locations in the Store Pickup app that need to be added to the Shopify location.

  • Fill in your store information and Save them. Continue adding your other stores.

  • After finishing adding, your stores will show up as follow:

Step 3: Sync your Store Location with Shopify Location

  • You turn back to the Store Pickup app and click on the Edit icon:

  • Go to Inventory tab → Select the corresponding store to sync your Store Location in Store Pickup app with Shopify Location. → Click Save Location.

  • In this example, we sync the location TheCranes 1 in the Store Pickup app with its corresponding store TheCranes 1 in Shopify Location.

  • Edit the same with your other stores so that the store locations are sync with Shopify locations. After finishing, don’t forget to click Publish to Shop.

Step 4: Select the locations where the product is stocked

  • Go to the Product tab on the left side menu bar and choose a product you want to set the location where it is stocked.

  • In this example, we choose the product: Green Toys - Pink

  • Click at the product, scroll down to the Inventory part, then tick Track quantity and click Edit locations to start selecting.

  • Select the store locations where this product is stocked by ticking the store names and click Save.

Set the quantity of the product at each location and click Save to finish.

Inventory with Product Tag

With the Product Tags option in the Inventory section, you are able to set up and show certain available products on a store location by adding Product Tags.

  • Step 1: Go to the Setting section

  • Step 2: click the Pickup tab and choose Inventory option: By Product Tags in the Settings part, then click on the Save button.

  • Step 3: Now you go back to the Locations section, click edit store and choose the Inventory tab and enable the Inventory feature.

After that, please remember to click on the Save and Publish to shop buttons.

  • Step 4: Go to Products tab (On the left side menu of your Shopify backend). → Choose and click on a Product that you want to add the tag.

  • Step 5: Scroll down to Tags (On the right side of the product’s site) and enter your tag for that product. → Click Save!

In this example, we create a Small Truck tag for our Green Toys - Pink product.

  • Step 6: Turn back to the Inventory tab of the store location you chose to edit above and enter the exact Tag name of the product you’ve just created to the Product Tags.

Click Save Location and Publish to Shop!

So, at this location, customers can only pick-up Small Truck products.
