Pre-Order Email

Improve customer service and reduce customer inquiries with the Pre-Order email feature. With this feature, you can notify customers of their pre-order delivery status such as estimated delivery date, actual delivery date and delays with this feature.

To use this feature, select the Pre-Order Email button:

IMPORTANT NOTE: This feature will only send emails to pre-orders that are made using the Amai PreOrder Manager + Nofify app only. We are unable to send any notifications to any pre-orders made using other apps.

Setup Email Template

To use this feature, first you must setup the email template by selecting the Edit Mail Template button:


Next, setup the emails at the pop-up modal:

  1. To setup, select the tabs here. There are a total of 3 emails that could be setup. They are:

    1. Estimated Delivery Notification - This will send the estimated delivery date email notification to the pre-order customers.

    2. Actual Delivery Notification - This will send the actual delivery email notification to the pre-order customers.

    3. Delay Notification - This will send an email informing customers should a delay occur to the delivery date of the pre-orders.

  2. Customize the subject line (email title) of the selected email notification. You can select the tags to add it to the subject line.


  3. Customize the email message of the selected email notification. Like the subject line customization, you can select the tags to add it into you subject line:

Setting Up Delivery Dates

Before the emails could be sent, you are required to setup the Estimated Delivery Date and/or Actual Delivery Date of the respective pre-orders:

Estimated Delivery Date and Actual Delivery Date (1) and (2), could be setup using the following methods:

  1. Editing individually by selecting the edit icon and then keying in the dates:


  2. To bulk edit the delivery date by selecting more than one pre-orders:


    At the Bulk Actions dropdown, select Edit Estimated Delivery Date or Edit Actual Delivery Date:


    Select the date and then click on Apply Changes to complete this process.


  3. For Estimated Delivery Date you can also key it in advance at the Product Page > Default Settings:


Pre-Order Delivery Email Notifications

You can send a total of 3 types of emails. They are:

  • Estimated Delivery Date

  • Actual Delivery Date

  • Delay


Emails sent are based on the template you had setup in the email template.

Filtering

Before sending the emails you have the option to filter the pre-orders listen in the panel by selecting "Add filter":

Proceed to select the filter you want and setup the values of the selected filter:

You can add in more than 1 filters. To do so, select Add filter again and proceed to select the additional filter you need:

The selected filters will be displayed here:

To remove individual filters, select the "X" or "Clear all" to remove all selected filters.

Sending of Emails

  1. To send emails based on individual product, go to the pre-order you wish to send and select the Send and select the types of email you want to send:


  2. To send in bulk, select more than one pre-orders:



    To select all all pre-orders (based on filters if filters are active), tick on the "Select All" checkbox:



    Then, click on the "Select all x+ items from your store" button and all pre-orders (based on filters if filters are active) will be selected.


    Proceed to select Bulk Actions drop down and then select the emails you wish to send:

Time to Receive Email

Customers will receive the emails in their inbox within 10 minutes of sending the email.
